The following are some home tips from America's Same Day Service Staff:

If the air conditioning unit is not cooling, clean coils on the outside with a hose. The unit may have dirt and grass built up on it.
Your air filter needs to be changed every 30-60 days. This also applies to the summer months.
If you notice that your furnace is running but the condensing unit is not (outside unit), check the fuses or circuit breaker to the condensing unit. Many times a fuse may need to be changed or the circuit breaker needs flipped.
A common problem is low water pressure coming through your shower head. To cure this problem, just soak your shower head in water and vinegar overnight. This will eat away at hard water build up. You will notice the water will flow through easier and give you stronger water pressure.
If your toilet is flushing but not plugged up (overflowing), put tons of vinegar in the tank. This will eat away at calcium deposits.
To help prevent your pipes from freezing, always remove hoses from the outside faucets. This will do the trick.
